Sierściuch*PL is a home cattery of extremely elegant black British Shorthair Cats. We are the only one cattery in Poland, which specializes in that unusual colour of fur within British Shorthair Cats. Our cattery was initiated in 2004 by a black beauty - Aida Koci Land*PL, the most independent female-cat, we have ever seen.
Why the British shorthair cats...?
Because this is a combination of the gentleness and the calmness, which are typicall for that breed, with a look of black panther. The big orange eyes appearing from brilliant, deep black fur have magic power, which may hypnotize you and don't allow to take your eyes of them.
Nevertheless, the black British Shorthair Cat not at once reveals it's beauty. Like in the fairy tale about an ugly duckling, the black British cat needs a time, about 6 months, to change from brownish kitten with bands into deep black, beautiful cat.
Our cats are equal partners of our family, what means, that kittens which live our home are trustful and treat people as member of cat family.
